Hello Oaklawn neighbors,
We want to inform you that we have been addressing sticker issues in our 4-plex area for several years. Despite various efforts by the Oaklawn Board, these attempts have not fully resolved the problem.
With the support of the Sedgwick County Fire Department, we are planning a controlled burn of the 4-plex area. Although we missed our window last year, we recently met with Mr. Matthew Nance from the Fire Department, who has been very helpful in coordinating this effort this year.
The controlled burn is expected to take place within the next two to three weeks. Please be assured that it will be conducted safely, and no one in the neighborhood will be in danger.
